Mike Tyson v Corey Sanders (Exhibition) [PART 2/2]
Feb 13th, 2010 by admin
Four round exhibition fight that took place a year after Tyson's last pro fight. This was supposed to begin a "World Tour" of Tyson exhibitions but that idea had to be scrapped after public interest declined. Youngstown, Ohio, USA. October 20, 2006.
tyson vs butterbean over 3 rounds that would be fun lol
LoL. . . . if he looked good?
He’s slow as a moose!
Hell, he couldn’t even fight without a shirt on. . . people would’ve left the building! LoL.
anyone else think the moneymen behind this thought if mike looks good maybe one more big payday will happen?? seems funny how cory didnt throw one meaningfull punch, just a thought
i like mma but boxing still bigger, the boxers make more money also.
boxers get 10x more than mma fighters
tyson got 30 million to fight holyfield and they fought twice
Sterling Promotions made a kill on this. . . !! How much did Cory get. . . . whats the numbers. . . ?
i dunno if they wer ment to be trying but non wer trying at all, tht corey was scared to hit tyson
but if tyson wanted to, he could have had him out cold in about 20 seconds, they wer obviously holding back alot, tyson gev him some good shots, but then u cud see he wud stop wen he knew the guy ws hurt, tht other guy was scared to hit tyson hard at all
i wud think he was told not to hit tyson hard
@ivancesarg I think de la hoya hanging up his gloves is more to do with his desire to compete has diminished.
The reason why Mike didn’t knock him out quickly is because he felt bad for him
Yea I agree to some point but I wouldn’t call the submission resting. . though yea sometimes if U lock your opponent it could be used as rest, so maybe U’re right after all haha
thats stupid i have done mma and boxing and boxing is so much harder for one your constantly moving around jumping getting defense and offense ,punching for 12rounds constantly and MMA you see less action unless you got the knockout artist who does the show. . . but aside that in mma you dont see constant blows you mostly see two guys wrestling on the ground for 2rounds resting cause they cant get out of a guard you have so much rest in mma and boxers train to go any disntace all energy
who makes more money?
@imtheguvnor ur wrong about hollyfield and lewis. ur talking about two of the best when u refer to them. tyson was great but don’t make it seem like he was invincible. he didn’t fight all that many top tier boxers in his time, and when he did he got CRUSHED!
tough crowd! . . mike tyson the greatest
big masters
Thanks. I agree with you about Tyson.
This isn’t exactly a top level opponent, but even old and out of shape Tyson looks pretty sharp.
If he got into good shape and his heart was in the sport, he could still fight at a very high level in boxing imo.
nice to see mike enjoying himself he looked very good in this and relaxed!
MIKE TYSON THE BEST EVER!!!
You took the words right out of my mouth Robo. A MMA fight dissipates more energy in the first round than boxing does in the first two or three. Tyson who would still make more than a good competitor and easily take on the likes of Valvue and Hayes. In fact, I’d bet he could take them both out at the same time. Hollyfield and Lewis would not have stood a chance against Mike in his heyday.
What is Royce Gracie doing in mma? The last time he fought in the UFC (2006) he got tooled by Matt Hughes. And even Hughes can’t hang with the top competition anymore.
Royce is a pioneer and a legend, but he definitely can’t compete in MMA.
I don’t think you would dismiss the difficulty of wrestling if you had some serious experience with it.
Boxers can fight 12 rounds because all they’re doing is punching.
Mixed Martial Artist’s fight less, but use more energy in a shorter time period.
AGE IN UFC matters less, ALOT LESS than does in Boxing. . . For example Royce Gracie can still do his thing despite his age,. . . De La Hoya on the other hand who is a much younger guy already too old for his sport – Understandably so,. . . Boxing for 12 3 minuite rounds is alot tougher than wresting for 3 5 minuite rounds, that’s for sure -
il est chanceux d’avoir un casque lolll mike l’aurrait terrassé
ye its rediculous
they knew it s jsut sparring
ya but boxers take lot more shots in the head its not often you see a 46 year old boxer still in his prime.
LOL @ 6:16 !!!
Wow, The crowd want’s Mike to kill the poor guy.
Entertaining Video Thanks!
