Car Audio Bass & Cold Weather – Worst 4 Subs Best 4 Amps – SNOW & Loud SPL Subwoofer Stereo Systems
Jul 29th, 2010 by admin
A lot of people asked, so I made a quick video about playing our stereo systems in the winter time. Click Below To Ask Me Questions! www.youtube.com Oh boy… Winter’s here – That means stiff spiders & frozen surrounds … All bad news for our subs
Things that will be affected by freezing cold weather 1. Subwoofers 2. Rotary Gain Knobs 3. LCD displays 4. Batteries & Charging Rate of Alts
haha yea i live in wisconsin and it gets -7 degrees late december so gay especially when you cant even show off your system becasue no one is outside and they dont care cuz its so dam cold.
COLORADO SON!
I always take my subs out of my truck during winter. I use a regular rubber-made tot box so the neighbors don’t see what I’m doing. To them, I tell them its my work junk, haha. But yeah, I carry 2 tot’s, making 2 trips, every morning and every afternoon, just to prevent the waste of gas from having to let them warm up. Works nicely, haven’t had any problems except for getting tired of doing it; got a garage I’ve been building this summer that’s attached to the house, it’ll help. Peace out man.
@haritoma Lol, Yep!
@domokun5555 hahaha someones been watching RWJ

one thing I hate about places with a lot of snow, the salt. I used to live in Chicago IL and moved to CA in a family Safari (my dad got it maybe a couple years after I was born the muffler fell off clean one day when one of my older brothers got hit license and drive on his own for the first time, that is when we noticed the shit fest of rust under the van
RIP Safari).
Thanks man this helps much was always wondering why my audio sounds so flat

hello, we in germany had this winter -28°C
My sub (ESX Signum SXB 300) blew not by -28°C
youre audiobahn doenst blow by the cold weather. you had it blow with too much power i think ^^
(Sry for this bad english)
Nice Greetings from germany, the land with no speedlimit on the highways
LOL no. . . .
hey EXO, i had a 12″ Audiobahn Flame Q this winter and i got in my car to go to work and was playing my at about half volume without letting the sub warm up, and i blew the voice coil. That was probably the outcome of a aluminum cone mixed with 30 degree weather, you think?
