@Eact84
You can buy a second hand plane for as much as a new car. If you build it yourself you can make one for less than $10,000.
@prooc
They say its max speed is 120mph which is about 105 knots. I dont know if thats VNE or VNO. I guess the website may have more info. VNE of a cheap ($15,000)cessna is about 160knots.
I would have expected to pay more, but with the options, incl. parachute and trailer it must be around 160k.
Why couldn”t they make one that really rips? Say 400knots?
I’d love one.
really cool. . . This would be so nice in Northern Minnesota to go to very remote lakes. . . I wonder what the range is ?
Your a moron.
brilliant aero, hope it works as well as they say
@StickstoffProduction wow are you retarded or something?
Sticks your as dumb as a bag of hammers, and your idea shows your only around children that would’nt know better!
)
and it shows your bubble you live in isnt that of the mature adult world, cheers
There is a video called Icon A5 at Oshkosh showing it in the water with a guy standing under the wing then it taking off. there is also a video at an air show of the guy sitting in it. the maiden flight video shows them taking it off the trailer and shows their tech people on jet skies in follow!! I mean dam you people thinks its fake? pretty stupid!
There is never a view of a person beiing IN the cocpit. Anyway it seems to me, that just one person barely can fit into that cocpit.
At 2:31 it looks like a RC-Plane hung out of the window of a car. The background looks like grass besides the road.
The Jet-Skii-man looks really static like a RC puppet at 3:18
In movement there is never a good size-comparison. There is one at 4:40 This can be done by some video-Tricks. I dont say, that its easy, but its possilbe.
5000$ comission.
@StickstoffProduction Why would it be a hoax? That is a strange comment.
dude its not a hoax go to their website and youll see
its also in the news thats why i search for its video here
It isn’t a hoax.
Somehow i dont lose the feeling, that this is a great hoax. A pretty good one, but a hoax.
this is good for the coyotes n drug delivery
lol
how do you buy one
your forgetting the real life celebrities though
this is cool
We have plenty of examples of vtol. I’m just saying the one thing they have in common is that they are terribly inefficient.
The martin Jetpack uses 10 gallons of gas to transport one person 30 miles. The plane I currently fly will take four people 120 miles on 10 gallons.
VTOL will always have more opperating cost than fixed wing. Thats why 99% of all VTOLs are military, they dont care about money.
thats the whole point of your reaction , your mind is like wtf 1,000 for a plane, so your r eaction is like are you joking , but why is this your reaction, cuz as you always know planes are so expensive, because of the same reason, that during history is planes been expensive , because those are meant so that only the millionares afford them, its all about money in this world. i just wish building a personal plane would be like buying a car, know what i mean ? affordable.
Cost is $139,000. 00 as stated at :22
Cool way to spend some extra time.
Awesome plane!
Lol. . . . I hope your joking. 1,000 for a plane is never going to happen.
I love this plane I cant wait to fly it I know I guy who is going to buy one at our airport for us to train out of just waiting for that 2 year mark to role aaround so we can get one
